The house and grounds are stunning, creating a peaceful vibe not far from town. Rooms offer thoughtful touches like a coffee maker with fresh local milk, chocolates, and high-quality toiletries.
Breakfast, while impressive, can overwhelm if you’re not ready for so many choices and portions, which might lead to some food waste. The rooms setup includes a fridge and utility items, but some might find bringing in takeout a bit odd without a proper dining setup. a more substantial eating area would be nice. the location, while serene, may feel too remote for those seeking constant hustle and bustle.

Nick, the host, stands out with thoughtful touches like fresh milk in the mini bar and indulgent salted caramel chocolate buttons. The beautiful garden is perfect for enjoying a personal bottle of wine, creating a serene environment. Breakfast delivers an incredible selection of cheeses and a hearty full English, which complements the lovely ambiance. the vintage décor might not appeal to everyone, and the traditional setting lacks modern amenities. the location is somewhat isolated, which may be inconvenient for travelers seeking quick access to local attractions.

Spotless, well-equipped rooms featuring high-quality bedding and a modern coffee machine with fresh milk are standout details here. The breakfast offers an impressive spread of locally sourced ingredients, including freshly caught trout and homemade pastries, consistently delivering exceptional quality.
Although the gardens are beautifully maintained, the absence of additional outdoor seating areas for enjoying the surroundings is a missed opportunity for relaxation. While the digital locks are convenient, I found the wifi speed a bit lacking, leading to buffering issues during streaming, which can be frustrating.
